The Base Oil Manufacturing Plant (“BOMP”) of HD HYUNDAI and
SHELL Base Oil started the first operation in the second half of 2014
based on the license by an internationally verified company,
Shell Global Solutions.

The BOMP produces high-quality lube base oil and light gas oil products by processing the unconverted oil from the vacuum gasoil hydrocracking upgrading process through iso-dewaxing and hydrogenation facilities.

Those high-quality lube base oil and light gas oil products are widely used in variety of application such as automobile engine oils, industrial oils, system/cylinder oils for vessel, and processing oils world-wide.

HD HYUNDAI and SHELL Base Oil’s lube base oil products will be supplied to the finished lubricants blending plants not only nationwide but also worldwide in line with more strengthened environmental regulations such as international emission regulations.
